SikDuo

Pacha New York City residents SikDuo came to fruition in 2011 when DJ culture pioneer DJ Riz (Crooklyn Clan) and house music prodigy Chris Moody joined forces to release their massive bootleg of Boney M’s “Daddy Cool”. Since then, these two longtime New York friends have been aggressively working in the studio crafting and honing the SikDuo sound. The duo highlights the unlimited potential that can be found when you bring two successful Producer/DJs from two different backgrounds together, combining their skills, experiences, extensive music knowledge and perspectives to create a sound that is bigger, more unique, and ready to spread on a global scale.

Shortly after, the Duo had their singles “BIG” and “Boom” in rotation on BPM and Electric Area (Sirius/XM). They also had the pleasure of remixing the Bob Sinclar classic “World Hold On” as well as the Printz Board hit “Hey You” which was featured on a Pizza Hut commercial.

Whether it’s a remix, original track, mashup or bootleg, SikDuo has gained the support from some of the biggest DJ’s around the world such as Kaskade, Tiesto, David Guetta, Chuckie, Bingo Players, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Laidback Luke and many others. With a consistent flow of content, they also receive great support from big blogs such as Elektro, Dancing Astronauts, Top House Music to name a few.

In 2014 SikDuo continued to build their fan base with 2 releases teaming up with house music legend Harry Romero. The single “Hot Beats” was released earlier in the year on Cr2 Records while their 2nd single “One Machine” recently dropped in mid October on Toolroom Records. Continuing with their signature big room drum sounds, SikDuo gave away “Get Hit” and “Feel The Drums” which also gained much support from “A List” DJs and exclusive premieres on SiriusXM gaining 10s of thousands of plays and  downloads from their fans.

In 2015 SIkDuo continues their SikCast series, exclusive remix & production giveaways, and a series of releases on the iconic New York based label, Nervous Records, starting in March.
