2 Good Souls are a London based DJ/Production duo. Their unique sound can be described as melting pot of varied styles encompassing melodic baselines and deep tech percussion with 80’s influenced electronic textures. Their DJ sets are known to create a carnival atmosphere on many a dance floor!
Lindz Taylor & Owen Clarke started working together in mid 2008 and immediately created a prolific partnership based on their shared music styles and experiences on the DJ circuit.
They quickly played at some of the biggest nights in the business including Defected in the House, Soul Heaven, Mutants, Toolroom Knights & Release Yourself. These have seen them billed alongside, Moby, Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez, Shapeshifters, Copyright, Barbara Tucker, Candi Staton, Louie Vega, Sandy Rivera, Quentin Harris, Simon Dunmore, John Dahlback, Laidback Luke, Lottie, Fedde Le Grande, Dimitri from Paris, Bob Sinclair, Kenny Dope, Tom Middleton, Funkagenda, Afro Jack, Michael Woods & many more.
Their unique blend of underground House grooves has taken them to exotic places such as India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore and cool clubbing destinations such as Russia, Italy, Greece, France and of course the white isle “Ibiza with pioneering legend Danny Rampling. They have become known in certain locations for their extensively long jam-packed dj sets of 5 – 8hrs long, which has the places rocking. This is a true credit to their extensive knowledge and understanding of the dance floor.
On their production, recent releases have seen them signed to the mighty Nervous Records (NYC) with an EP that featured Bassment Jaxx singer Kele Le Roc. Other latest signings are on Roger Sanchez label Stealth Records with features on his new Release Yourself Compilation 13 and being aired as special guests on his global radio show to a listener base of 15 million people.
Other productions have included “Cool Summer” on Sexy Trash Digital (a re-work of Banarama’s pop chart slammer Cruel Summer, a top 10 hit in 1983). The track was supported by many top DJ’s but none more so than “man of that moment” Jamie Jones! The track went to number 6 in the top 100 download charts in Juno within the first week and is still doing well today. They were also signed to Maquina Music, Kidology, Mjuzieek Digital, Conkrete Digital and all the tracks charted in the Top 100 on Traxsource. Their first EP on Maquina had huge support from their peers and “Got This Feeling” charted for 10 weeks in a row in the Traxsource Top 100. It also appeared in DJ PP’s (Toolroom Records) Top 10 tracks of the year and featured on Roger Sanchez’s Release Yourself Radio Show.
In 2012 also saw them set up Del Amore Records. The label serves as an outlet for some of their own original written material. They have written and produced with Kathy Brown, Roland Clark, Marc Evans, Sandy Spady, Paul Hunt & Kele Le Roc.
They also created the Del Amore Radio Show with Ireland’s RTE Pulse radio host “Funky Colin” Edwards, which is now aired in 14 countries around the globe. The show champions the finest upfront underground House & Techno covering all sub genres. International guests have included; Danny Rampling, Timo Garcia, DJ Meme, Stonebridge, Tony Monduca, Miguel Rosa, Soul Tronik, Jesse James, Electronic Youth, Trevor Fung, Soul Avengerz and Nathan Coles to name a few.
